Zo is originally from the Washington, D.C./Virginia area.

Zo has served on non-profit national boards and employee resource group committees supporting cultural diversity, mental health, neurodiversity, caregiving, and disability awareness and inclusion. Zo is a University of Virginia (UVA) graduate and a former White House intern.
