2015. May. 08. I am currently traveling in Bangkok, Thailand. It has been one month in this glorious city and country. I am about to head to a dinner, hosted by two of my friends. A small gathering and a send off at El Lugar by the BTS Asok, Sukumvit MTR, and Terminal 21. It will be my first buffet in Bangkok! It costs 299 baht for unlimited Filipino food per person! My Filipino friend teaching in Bangkok suggested it. #COUNTDOWN - During the dinner and after I am impressed the restaurant let's people sing karaoke. My guest mates including respected makeup artist K., educator K. and well known Japanese Artist Tomoko Honda. Everyone joins on singing their hearts out while dining on heavy and filling Filipino food. Tonight we aren't bar hopping or clubbing in Silom but relaxing before I depart. - Later we finish the evening at the Long Table where I have never visited. Upon arrival, I am astounded by the wide view of Bangkok and the pool side bar. Definitely a luxe spot with drinks starting at 300 baht. We order mojitos, margaritas and a special sweet drink. The night is relaxed as we dance in our chairs and enjoy the humid breeze, and the relaxed atmosphere. Later Tomoko catches a motorcycle ride home and K. and catch an Uber. Thank god for Uber.
